Treatments Available For

Heart Attack

A heart attack happens when there is a sudden complete blockage of an artery that supplies blood to an area of the heart. A heart attack occurs when a blood clot completely blocks the flow of blood and seriously reduces blood flow to the heart muscle. This also results in patients experiencing excruciating chest pain. A heart attack is also called myocardial infarction (MI), acute myocardial infarction, coronary occlusion or coronary thrombosis. Heart attack warning signs can vary from person to person, and they may not always be sudden or severe, but will often include pain in the chest, upper body pain, sweating, nausea, fatigue, and trouble breathing. Abnormal Heart Rythm

Pacemakers are used for treating this problem. A pacemaker is a small device that’s placed in the chest or abdomen to help control abnormal heart rhythms. This device uses electrical pulses to prompt the heart to beat at a normal rate and are used to treat arrhythmias. An Arrhythmia is a problem with the rate or rhythm of the heartbeat. A pacemaker regulates the body’s electrical system, which controls the heart’s rhythm. With each heartbeat, an electrical impulse travels from the top of the heart to the bottom, signaling the muscles of the heart to contract. A pacemaker can also track and record your heartbeat which can help your doctor better understand your arrhythmia. For regular health and heart, checkups schedule a visit with us.

Heart Failure

Heart failure, sometimes known as congestive heart failure, occurs when the muscles of the heart refuse to pump blood as well as it should. Certain conditions, such as narrowed arteries in the heart (coronary artery disease) or high blood pressure, gradually leave your heart too weak or stiff to fill and pump efficiently. Treatments can improve the signs and symptoms of heart failure and help you live longer. For regular health and heart, checkups schedule a visit with us.

Heart Arrhythmia

Heart arrhythmia is a group of conditions in which the heartbeat is irregular, too fast, or too slow. A fast heart rate that is above 100 beats per minute in adults is called tachycardia whereas a slow heart rate that is below 60 beats per minute is called bradycardia. Many types of arrhythmia have no symptoms but those that do have palpitations or feeling a pause between heartbeats as the symptoms. In more severe cases symptoms may include lightheadedness, passing out, shortness of breath, or chest pain. While most types of arrhythmia are not serious, some increase the chances of other complications such as stroke, heart failure or even cardiac arrest.
